This was a cute small town romance。 I really enjoyed the way Grace and Garrett progressed from friends to lovers and how they grew to care for one another。 I definitely think some of the jokes were cringey but I think that was just the characters style。 I wish there was less of the cringey banter and that some of it stayed out of the smut， but that is a personal preference。

Small town romances that give me laughs， along with plenty of swooning， are what I’ve known to come and love from Harloe Rae！Grace has had her fill of dealing with guys who aren’t good for more than a good time。 She wants her own prince charming and she’s not willing to settle for less。 Garrett is Mr。 Fun-In-The-Moment and is definitely not looking to settle。 But these two have a pull that they can’t seem to fight。 It’s so much fun to watch them try， though！Garrett is a little possessive （in the Small town romances that give me laughs， along with plenty of swooning， are what I’ve known to come and love from Harloe Rae！Grace has had her fill of dealing with guys who aren’t good for more than a good time。 She wants her own prince charming and she’s not willing to settle for less。 Garrett is Mr。 Fun-In-The-Moment and is definitely not looking to settle。 But these two have a pull that they can’t seem to fight。 It’s so much fun to watch them try， though！Garrett is a little possessive （in the good kind of way！） and even though he agrees to being Grace’s friend while helping her find Mr。 Charming， he is falling fast without admitting it to himself。 He was burned by an ex who left him high and dry when the next bigger and shinier man came along。 Grace is very much her opposite， full of heart， love， and honesty。There are a lot of quirky moments throughout the book， and I found all of them endearing。 One of my favorites was their visit to the bed and breakfast。 The banter is fun， and I love how Garrett corrupts Grace into picking up some of his humor to use on her own。 From the beginning， Garrett dubs Grace ‘soulmate’ and continuously expresses that sentiment through his actions （even when he can’t/won’t admit it to himself）。It was fun catching up with Jake， Harper， and Sydney — even more so， Sydney’s interaction with Bradley （future couple？？！！）。 I hope to see more of all these characters and their shenanigans！ 。。。more
